The Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) is a peak body for the architectural profession, representing more than 9800 members across Australia and overseas. The Institute actively works to improve the quality of the built environment by promoting quality, responsible and sustainable design. The AIA’s 2010 exhibition in the Australian Pavilion at the 12^th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice showcased a collection of urban visions using the latest 3D stereoscopic technology and was attended by more than 93,000 visitors, up 60% from the previous event.
