ING MEDIA is delighted to be supporting St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street in a new campaign called the INSPIRE! Appeal to help raise money to save this historical landmark. Often referred to as the Cathedral of Fleet Street, St Bride’s is the tallest of Sir Christopher Wren’s City churches and has stood for more than 300 years. Over time the spire and stonework have deteriorated, and without the £2.5 million needed for crutial repair and conservation the church could be forced to close – destroying the life of a Grade I listed building visited seven days a week by an active congregation of residents, local business people and visitors from around the world. Several events are planned for 2012 for potential corporate donors, the congregation and general public to get involved.
