The Wayfinding structures are situated around the Olympic Park to provide information and directions to spectators. The structures include six 7m high zone beacons, five 15m high major becons and two 12m high entrance gantries. At the entrance to the Park at Stratford Gate, visitors are greeted with Surface Architect’s 12m-high magenta gantry. The typeface used is consistent on the 7m and 15-high beacons around the Park. Inspired by the colours of the London logo, the bright pink beacons are made from sustainably sourced fabrics and will be dismantled after the Games. At each venue the magenta Wayfinding colour scheme gives way to another individual colour schemes, evident on venue tickets and within the buildings themselves.
