During the Games the Athlete’s Village will host 17,000 competitors. Plot 2 is formed of seven, two storey blocks which will provide 1784 beds for athletes during the Games. Following the Games, work will begin on the 298 units, including the addition of kitchens, to transform the apartments into liveable homes as the Athlete’s Village becomes part of the new East Village neighbourhood.
